jehovah's witnesses post 'anti-gay' 'harness your habits' leaflet in north devon.

devon and cornwall police have said a leaflet posted through doors in north devon isn't a crime – despite it advising gay people to "control their urges".the leaflet, entitled "how to harness your habits", was distributed in north devon by jehovah's witnesses and contains an article asking "what does the bible say about homosexuality?

"in it, the religious group states that "rejecting homosexuality" is completely different to "rejecting people of a different skin colour" and says their views are the same as people who "view smoking as harmful and even repugnant".it also compares gay people to animals, but says "unlike animals, they can choose not to act on their impulses".the journal was contacted by a reader, who wishes to remain anonymous, who felt "belittled" by the leaflet.

I don't get it, is this a special leaflet made up by the witnesses in Devon, or is this an official watchtower leaflet? If it's official then this is a new direction for their ministry!

Andromeda, if God preserved his book throughout the ages as we're taught, why didn't he preserve the integrity of the book by including the apocryphal books?

anyone else had this following convention

so my mam visited today.

she recently went to convention in north east england, newcastle i think they still have them at.

before she left she said (this is her exact words btw) "you have put me in a difficult position and i can't come to see you anymore".. she told me that as i live with my partner and we are unmarried that she can't visit anymore.

Maybe they're paving the way for expansion on the "anyone called a brother" to mean anyone baptised and faded, no matter how long ago.

my heart goes out for all people stuck in all high control groups, either with insight into the falsehood of their beliefs or none.. to remain a member whilst knowing it false however, must be soul destroying.. my question is, would you carry on living the lie if you discovered that we get one life, one go at existing.

it's short, it's fragile and nobody in 100 years will care we even existed..... .......if you came to that realisation would you quit?.

.......if you had children, would you leave in order to set them an example in strength and appreciation of the short time we enjoy?.

I DO believe we only get one shot, but I'm still staying in for the time being. I've weighed up the pros and cons, and in my opinion the cons of leaving outweigh the pros right now.

I can keep family happy and try to wake loved ones up from the inside, for now. I KNOW it's only temporary though. Losing my patience..

Mobile Hotspot - JWFACTS.COM - Assembly & Conventions

here is an idea i tested.

works at both assemblies and conventions.

i have noticed at the last convention and at my last assembly that when i opened up my wifi setting, tons of hotspots came up for people tethering their tablets to their smart phones.

Is there a tutorial online for using an older android phone as a hotspot, but securing it so that the only thing available to whomever connects is crisis of conscience or other documents of our choosing?

Contempt of court, case in San Diego county really disgusts me!

this case has to be talked about by ever awake jw every apostate everyone.

this case because they refuse to hand over documents the court already knows they have because they handed them over before but heavily redacted, is the icing on the cake!

this case shows thier evil plain and simple.

Goodness me this is exciting. There is NO GOOD REASON to drag your heels about protecting the vulnerable. Plenty of bad reasons, but no good reason that I can think of..

Did anybody else think the number in this quote was kind of apt?
